About Us
More local than you think?
Whether you're buying or selling, thinking local can be better. Better for your business, and better for the local economy.
Why Think Local?
Think Local is a business initiative for southern Staffordshire led by five Local Authorities and the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and Industry. It encourages the public sector and private companies to buy local; giving local businesses every opportunity to prove their value and succeed. Since its launch in the Lichfield District in late 2003, Think Local has steadily expanded into neighbouring areas in partnership with local authorities and Chambers of Commerce. Today, it's a major resource and source of support for businesses across southern Staffordshire.

Doing business locally makes good business sense - better use of time, faster response, and easier customer care. Travel, logistics, communications and sub-contracting all get quicker, easier, and cheaper.
Better for the local economy
Keeping it local is better in so many ways. Better for inward and indigenous investment, and more sustainable for the local environment with customers and workforces close by.
